Health Care

This morning I was watching ‘Morning Joe’ as I tend to appreciate the varying points-of-view brought to the show.  However, today, Joe was particularly annoying due to the fact that he has hit on the same note the rest of the nation has struck.  Which is to let the mumbling idiots in Washington repeat the same tag lines over and over and then to repeat them as if it were true.  Truth is we are in piss poor condition as far as heath care goes and it is of my opinion that if it is not Government run, it will be ‘for-profit’ and thus indifferent to your specific condition and bottom-line driven.

I’m so sick of the rhetoric following predominantly the Republican party as it has  seemingly caused the most harm.  Slogans like “Death Panels” are a great tool to scare the less educated peons of the world to vote against their best interests.  This way they can keep receiving kick-backs from insurance companies and further their own interests.

Explain to me how providing a public option as an alternative would be a bad thing?  How can competition be so detrimental to our capitalistic ways?
