   It doesnt matter if they have the following or not. All it takes is that most United States citizens are fed up with what is happening with our government, and the people are fed up. It is web sites such as this that are so pitiful. Those people that say things about a civil war are not extreme. The extremists are the people that want to take this country towards a communist or socialist state. The civil war is going to occur. You can count on it. Right here in good ole America, You had better be prepared for it.

   Well, Jim Smith, my grandfather used to yell at me that the commies were gonna take us over from within. And that was in the 1960′s. Since then, Communism has pretty much gone the way of the pony express. What you really want is tyranny and a corporate state with all the trimmings. I may not be very attuned to that, Mr. Smith, and you will find me a more than adequate opponent.

   What the Soviet Union knew was that America fighting the Cold War internationally would eventually lead to America fighting the Cold War domestically. That defending oneself against external enemies would eventually lead to defending oneself against internal enemies. That once the external enemy collapsed, all of that fear, paranoia, and extremism would be displaced onto an enemy closer to home. That in the land of the free and the home of the brave, there were those who were brave who didn’t want to be free, and who in their hearts wanted socialism in America, and would die and kill to make that a reality.

   The tragedy was that both sides underestimated each other. The socialists viewed the capitalists with contempt and felt that they wouldn’t have the guts to fight because they worshipped the Almighty dollar. The capitalists looked at the socialists’ hatred of Christianity and atheism and thought that there were no atheists in foxholes, and that the other side wouldn’t fight. The tragedy was that both sides were the bravest men on Earth, men who could face down the ghastly instruments of modern warfare and the specter of death for a cause which they believed in. Men who had crossed oceans, defeated empires, created the greatest nation on Earth, and achieved what those of the ages before would stagger in disbelief as works of a supernatural God…

   They felt in their hearts that the true enemy was their fellow countrymen. That when the enemy within was exterminated and rendered prostrate, that their utopia would be at last be theirs. That their vision of America’s future was right, and that anyone who disagreed was their mortal enemy, who eventually would need to be dealt with, and destroyed by any means necessary. That the third world war was indeed to be an event where annihilation of civilization would occur, but that it would be not a world war, but a civil war, a war in which millions died, and the dreams of a nation forever perished, for those who were left living had nothing to live for, and those who died did so for an illusion. That man’s quest for perfection and a heaven on Earth led to a reality of Hell.
