July 16, 2010

Call this one the Axelrod Edition. President Obama’s senior adviser, David Axelrod, was on three of the political talk shows on July 11, and we found that he strayed from the factual straight-and-narrow several times in talking about the oil spill, border security and other issues. The ineffectiveness of the government at this point in time is a true contemporary scandal. The middle-of-the-road (read as seeking reelection) positioning of the Obama administration combined with the many obstacles to progress created by the Republican Scandal makes any progress made thus far by the Democrats a forgotten thing of the past. The Obama [...]

Those who are unemployed must be lazy drug addicts just sitting around leaching off of our government. Among the Republicans making a stink regarding this issue, Jon Kyl has made it abundantly clear that it is illogical to keep borrowing to pay for unemployment insurance.
